Following FlexLink's new direction with Strategic Business Units (SBUs) taking the full responsibility of sub-segments within identified industries, the Life Sciences SBU will start its operations January 1st, 2011.
The Life Sciences SBU offers production logistics solutions for the GMP/QSR regulated industry with focus on medical device manufacturing clients, globally.
With FlexLink's production logistics offerings as a base, the offer is augmented with technologies and services tailored for the industry segment, such as the Pharmasuite® MES software.
By deploying integrated solutions customers will achieve an efficient, quality assured, paperless and traceable production by controlling and optimizing the flow of material, products and information.
The team includes members from Compliant Logistics AB, a FlexLink subsidiary and previously JV with Semcon AB. By the start of the Life Sciences SBU, the responsibilities will be taken over from Compliant Logistics.
