Product enhancements XB175 and XB295

“The aluminium profiles of X180 and X300 are very rigid and permit a steady and safe transport of bigger products like cardboard boxes, soft plastic bags, or other large packages. We have implemented several improvements on X180 and X300 coming from our X85 platform.” says Göran Abbestam, Product Manager Aluminum and Pallet conveyor platforms.

The idler and drive units have received the most important improvements. New design, new side plates with T-slots for easier mounting of guide rails and supports and new infeed guides which permit a conveyor speed of up to 80 m/min but also a lower noise level.

The enhanced conveyor platforms now also include a vertical bend permitting a 45 degree incline, completing the range of the existing 5 and 15 degree bends.

“We have also added the two conveyor platforms to our drag-and-drop design tool, Configura, for easier engineering and a quicker order process. Extract components, import them into our order online system, MyFlexLink, and get price, stock status and delivery time.” adds Mr. Abbestam.

The two updated conveyors have also changed denomination, from XB175 and XB295 to X180 and X300, following FlexLink’s current platform structure. The updated versions are still 100% compatible with the old conveyor components.
