Horizontal diverters

FlexLink’s patented DFC™ (Dynamic Flow Concept) technology is used to create a dynamic distribution and balancing when diverting products with a high throughput.

Gentle product handling

The products are smoothly held and positively driven through the diverter to eliminate product damages. DFC™ can be used to handle smaller products, e.g. rolls, bars, packs, bags, cartons, boxes and similar products, or larger products such as bundles and cases.

Dynamic Flow Concept

The DFC™ technique utilizes the acceleration of products to create switching gaps in a continuous motion flow. The gap also makes it possible for products to be counted and metered into the various discharge lanes in order to create a balanced flow to down stream packaging equipment.

Space saving layout

Space saving

The dynamic distribution makes compact layouts possible, with short distance between machines. The diverter and its HMI is easy accessible and operated, still having a compact design with a small footprint.

Modular design

The dynamic horizontal diverters are of modular design with several features to enable the most competitive configuration for your application. Several in-feed lanes are available and the number of possible discharge lanes depends on the product width.

Modular design

Features:

  • Products are individually metered for optimal line balancing.
  • On-the-fly distribution, stops for shifting avoided.
  • No back-log requirements, no divert slugs.
  • No clamping or accumulation.
  • Flexible and easy change over.
