The DLC multi-lane diverters have the capability to divert up to an eight-lane flow of products, on to up to eight discharge lanes. Each in-feed lane can reach every discharge lane, to enable a balanced flow.
Instead of using traditional brakes and stops the multi-lane diverters have choke-belts for counting and metering a suitable amount of products to each channel. The choke-belts are of a similar type as in FlexLink's patented DFC™ (Dynamic Flow Concept ), i.e. the use of acceleration of products to create gaps for switching and counting.
The modular design and high reliability ensures a long MTBF (Mean time between failures) and a low maintenance cost. Changeovers between different product dimensions are quick and easy thanks to the straight forward design with hand wheels.
