Machine building systems
FlexLink offers a wide assortment of aluminum profiles and accessories such as connectors, fasteners, feet, etc to build machine supports and safety enclosures. Pre-assembled enclosure sections and sliding door profiles as well as linear units are also available.
Structural system XC is based on aluminium beams with T-slots for easy interconnections and attachment of external devices. The system is based on the module 44 mm. Beam sizes in the XC system range from 24x24 mm up to 176x88 mm.
Structural system XC offers sturdy components which provide high load capacity for both static and linear motion systems. It is used within a wide range of applications, from frameworks, workbenches and enclosures to special machinery, pick and place units and gantry robots.
Structual system XF (module 30 mm)
Structual system XF consists of a range of standard components with emphasis on enclosure applications based on the module of 30 mm. It includes two basic beam types, the support beams (XFBM) in cross-sectional dimensions 30 mm x 30 mm and 30 mm x 60 mm as well as several enclosure beams (XFEB) intended for enclosure frameworks.
System XF also includes other components for enclosures, including hinges, handles, strips for nets and panels, etc.
Linear drive units
Screw driven
By selecting the high performance and precision screw driven and ball guided products most of the machining movements can be made easier and more cost efficient. Combining with servomotors, gearboxes and drives a complete motion solution is achieved. It also enables high precision pick and place applications as well as inspection tasks.
A screw driven system is normally recognized by high thrust and stiffness and can be based on a low cost lead screw with preloaded nut, through to a standard commercial rolled ball screw or even a state of the art high precision ground ball screw.
Fast wheel guides
A wheel guided system offers a perfect combination of stiffness and dynamics. With high load capacity and unmatched speed and accelaration, wheelguides is the perfect choice for a dynamic application. Years of experience ensure that you get the best in class technoilogy when choosing a DAnaher Motion wheel guided linear unit.
High precision ball guides
The ball guided linear units come in two different versions. This integrated ball guide system is used in some of the ball guided units and offers outstanding load carrying performance along with high accuracy and a long life expectancy.
The second version are based on a commercial type of ball guide which offers smooth and quiet travel and the highest precision. These ball guided systems offer the best performance on the ball guide market today.
Robust prism guides
The uniqe self aligning prism guide system uses prism shapped polymer bushings running directly on the anodised profile surface. The prism guide offers a cost efficient , smooth, reliable and maintenance free guidinig system. Resistant to shok loads, dust and dirt it is the best choice for applications in demanding environments.
A belt driven system is chosen when acceleration and speed are the most important criteria. Other features of this product are outstanding load carrying performance as well as high precision. The belt driven units use a wide range of different belts from leading belt manufactures.

The components in structual systems are well suitable for constructing guardings and enclosures. Normally, system XF are recommended for this purpose. The XF beams (module of 30 mm) are available in two basic types, support beams (XFBM) and enclosure beams (XFEB). The main difference is that the enclosure beams are available with either 3 or 2 T-slots, providing a neat appearance in corners.
