FlexLink has received significant orders for automation
solutions from tissue paper manufacturers in the USA and Europe.
The total order value exceeds 3 million Euro since the beginning of
the year and includes orders from large multinational companies for
their production plants in the USA and Europe.
The orders are a result of the ongoing consolidation within the
tissue paper industry combined with FlexLink's newly launched total
solutions for flexible production. Since 15 years, FlexLink has a
reputation as a supplier of equipment for the packaging sections
and has now reinforced its position by supplying turn-key systems,
which provide considerable contributions to increased
productivity.
The orders are equally distributed between customers in the USA,
Europe and Scandinavia.
"I am very pleased to see that our focus on this industry in the
USA is now starting to show results. At the same time, I note that
our strong position in Northern Europe has been reinforced," says
Fredrik Jönsson, CEO of FlexLink.
"Our Dynamic Flow Concept fits very well with modern production
systems, where the requirement for up-time combined with high
levels of flexibility is evident. Tissue paper is delivered in a
multitude of varieties, colours, packages and qualities.
Furthermore, the production of private labels increases, which also
drives the demand for flexibility in the production plants," says
Hans Ostergren, Business Area Manager, Paper Converting at
FlexLink.
FlexLink started in 1980 and is a leading global supplier of
