German Wella’s main plant is situated in Ondal, Germany, is a world market leader in hair care products. They annually manufacture 200 million hair care products with a total weight of more than 40 000 tons. For many years FlexLink conveyors have been at work transporting shampoo, lotion and other hair care products.

Ideal for fast changes
For the production manager at Ondal, FlexLink is the ideal material handling system for the continuously occurring changes in the production and packaging. One advantage of the FlexLink system especially appreciated by the Ondal production manager, is the short time it takes to rebuild the FlexLink installations, when for example a smaller number of a special article must be produced.

Used in all manufacturing and packaging

• Transportation of empty bottles of different sizes and shapes to the filling machines.
• Transports between the filling, sealing and labeling machines. 
• Different packaging processes and transport of trays. In the very sensitive area of hairspray filling anti-static FlexLink installations are made.

This results in a higher identification level between the staff and the manufacturing and packaging lines are guaranteed.
