Come visit FlexLink Systems
in Booth #4011 at the Assembly Technology
Expo to learn how FlexLink has been applying RFID technology to
solve customers’ track and trace requirements. On display will be two different applications
of RFID technology in addition to our NEW Automatic Guiding System
(AGS) and Differentiated Drive Solutions: DAS 30 – Dynamic Assembly
System The DAS concept is built upon a unique
combination of hardware, logic controls and software. This
combination is the tool for production and process logic, giving
industry the most flexible production system with complete process
management and product traceability. FlexLink offers a software
infrastructure supported by IPC/CAMX. The systems we offer
can monitor process machines, process cycle times and collect data
for improving production efficiencies. Benefits of the DAS system: - Automated shop floor logistics
- High yields throughout the product lifecycle
- Track and traceability
- Easy reconfiguration
- Reusability of equipment
XK Pallet FlexLink’s heavy duty XK has been utilized for
many years in hostile environments, such as the Automotive and
Machined Parts industries. Benefits of XK include: - High quality, reusable and flexible solutions minimize costs
during changes of the production flow
- Pallets accommodate products with unfavorable
geometry
- Produce different products in the same line at the same time by
using the pallet as an independent interface
- Minimize the risk for damage of sensitive and fragile products
and thereby increase production yield
- Shorter lead-times with less products through total control of
the production flow
Automatic Guiding Systems
(AGS)
The new automatic adjustable guiding system provides a flexible way
to add fast width adjustment for conveyors in a production
line.
The system offers quick and easy automatic resetting of product
guiding systems in production flows. The effect is increased line
efficiency and safe product distribution throughout the line. The system has a modular design and consists of
guide units for the guiding, controls for the control of the guide
units and junction boxes for power supply. The system can be linked
to the line control system and one control box can control up to
220 guide units. Differentiated Drives The FlexLink XL and XM assortments of drive
units now contain versions optimized for light and medium
loads.
The new drive units provide cost effective alternatives to the
current types designed for heavy loads. They have slots in the side plates suitable for
attaching guide rail brackets and other accessories based on slot
fasteners. The sprocket wheels are connected directly to the motor
shaft without any clutch. To register for the show, just go to http://www.atxwest.com, then
