FlexLink’s wedge conveyor concept provides fast, gentle and reliable level change handling at contract filler Trensum, producing up to 15 different juices in four types of bottles using manual width adjustment. Between 10 to 12 different production lines are running at Trensum.  

Trensum Foods, Tingsryd, is a leading Swedish contract filler with many various customers, handling about 460 different products in many different types of and sizes of bottles. FlexLink has delivered a number of stainless wedge conveyors for bottle in-/out-feed applications. The system separates different types bottles before they enter the shrink-wrapper and end-of-line palletizer. 

Continuous high capacity operation 
The continuous high capacity operation, which brings the bottles from the filling down to the shrink-wrapper level, was very important for Trensum. That is why they installed the FlexLink solution. ”It’s better and easier for us this way, says Christer Estberg, production manager. By installing it ourselves we got to know how the system works. We didn’t have any serious problems during the installation.” 

Reliable and easy to adjust 
Between 10 to 15 different juices and sodas in four different bottles are handled on the line using the manual width adjustment. ”That’s why we chose FlexLink, it’s reliable and easy to adjust”, says Christer Estberg. ”We have a fast turnover of different products. Our capacity is maximum 20 000 bottles per hour.”
