Reduce cleaning time with 25 %, thanks to hygienic design and clean-in-place (CIP), cleaning modules.
A simplified, hygienic conveyor line design increases ease-of-cleaning as well as reduces downtime and overall costs, with a positive impact on the bottom line. The crevice- and cavity-free design eliminates most areas that are difficult to clean. With its small contact surfaces between component parts, no open threads, no sharp corners and no flat horizontal surfaces, a repeatable and consistent cleaning result is also ensured. We follow EHEDG and 3A design guidelines and our modular wide belt conveyor in stainless steel, WLX, is the only conveyor on the market with a 3A qualification.
Should the equipment need to be stripped down from its base components and then re-assembled, this takes up a large proportion of the production time. By using a modular approach and having minimal mechanical fixings, FlexLink considerably reduce the downtime needed for cleaning.
Our solutions are compact and require minimum floor space. We design our FoodTech lines with minimum supports in order to maximize accessibility underneath the equipment.Key aspects of reducing the cleaning time
- Easy access to all parts of the conveyor
- Good drainage with elimination of corners and flat surfaces
- Standard – unified cleaning instructions
- Smooth and separated contact surfaces
- Cleaning devices such as chain washers and clean-in-place (CIP)
