New cobot RC12 with OMRON arm

FlexLink extends its offer for collaborative palletizing

  • Enhanced collaborative palletizers RC12 and RC14 enable higher payloads
  • Designed to cooperate safely and efficiently with co-workers
  • Advanced palletizing of cartons and boxes for the end-of-line

FlexLink, an industry leader in automated production and material flow solutions, has extended its offer of advanced palletizing cells adding the RC12 and RC14 to the original RC10. New robotic arms provide higher payloads, up to 12 kilograms, and larger box sizes and pallet heights.

"We have designed our new collaborative palletizing cells with the clear objective to improve the user-friendliness for operators further. The design of the RC12 and RC14 allows even faster relocations without any extra lifting device. The enclosed cabinet protects the robot controls in dusty environments and allows straightforward cleaning. Due to the LED stripes on both sides, the operation status can be seen easily in bigger production halls," says Stefan von Westberg, Head of Marketing at FlexLink. "Our customers across all industries, e.g., FMCG, food, packaging, and pharma, can choose from various configurations to fit best into their production environment."

Additionally, the RC12 and RC14 have a new built-in HMI with a touch screen on the control panel. Here the FlexLink Software Robot-Config is included so that new pallet pattern configurations are always a quick and easy task. All collaborative robots from FlexLink also have a compact footprint and cooperate safely with co-workers in a production or logistics environment.
